Important COVID-19 Information

Beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020, we will be taking decisive steps to do our part in “flattening the curve” of the coronavirus (COVID-19).  We understand that many members may be negatively impacted during this uncertain time, so we will be suspending disconnections for late payments and associated late payment fees until April 12, 2020.

Our office lobbies will remain closed through April 10, 2020, although business operations will remain ongoing.  Drive-thrus at the Hinesville and Reidsville offices will remain in operation, but members are also encouraged to utilize the Canoochee App, canoocheeemc.com, night deposit boxes, or by phone whenever possible.  Our Pembroke office will still maintain the night deposit box but will be effectively closed for any other business.

We remain committed to providing excellent customer service to our members, and we will continue to look at ways to help protect them, as well as our employees.  We pray for the wellbeing of our members and our employees during these challenging times.

NOTICE ON DISCONNECTIONS

Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus), Canoochee EMC will not disconnect members for non-payment through April 12, 2020.  This will be re-evaluated when this period ends.  Late Fees will also not be assessed during this period of time.  Here is important information on this matter:

  • This is NOT a waiver and does not eliminate your bill.
  • At the end of this period, your bill will still be due.
  • We recommend that members make an attempt to stay current with your payments.
